Thanksgiving Day

It's very fitting that this post be made today, Thanksgiving Day; a day that means more than turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. The name itself conveys what it is suppose to be all about. However, with our busy schedules we make it so difficult to reflect on the simple pleasures in life. Here's a few things I'm grateful for...

-for family, whether "by blood" or people I've met in life, that always make me feel at home.
-for my dog who gives free and unconditional love.
-for friendships, especially those who have been rekindled into stronger bonds.
-for my business that has seen healthy and successful growth.
-for good times and bad times - that we celebrate them or made it through them.
-for faith, hope and love. because those things are free, irreplaceable, and the only things that last a lifetime.
-for life, because without it none of the above is possible.

I'm especially grateful for those who have played such an impactful role in my business, Allendorf & Company. It's a privilege to be surrounded by that much talent and dedication to producing nothing less than amazing content with a passion that is infectious.

Trent Warrick- Thank you for your sacrifice at times and commitment to being a part of my business. I can't wait to see what future projects we will work on!
Dylan Hall- Thank you for the ability to learn on the fly and deal with ambiguity as we integrate you into my business model.
Jon Newell- Thank you for coming to the rescue and assisting my team this fall. There will definitely be future opportunities for us to collaborate!
Allen Ragasa- Thank you for your help assisting me on projects, it's always exciting to share those moments with a great friend like yourself.

Lastly, a special thanks to the many at Fashion Houston who honored me with the role of Director of Photography. I could not imagine where my company would be today, without the event being present in Houston. It has guided what started as a hobby, into a passion, and transformed it into a business.

Thank you FH5 Team: Jared Lang, Jeanne Ruberti, Angel Woolsey, Emily Arnim, Jentry Kelley, Dennis Clendennen, Ana Lavalle, Todd Parker, Lina Matar and Jammy Kinggundu.

I'm humbled to say that all the things I've been through have made me the individual I am today. So at this time of Thanksgiving celebration my thoughts turn gratefully to you with warm appreciation.

Sincerely,
Michael Allendorf
