Happy New Year's Eve/Day

As the turn of year quickly approaches across the world… we begin to reflect upon the year past. Much like any other, mine has definitely has had it’s ups and downs.

This year I mourned with the loss of family and friends; while at the same time celebrating those moments cherished with those individuals to forever carry along their memory in spirit and soul.

For those who passed on, rest in peace as you “will never be forgotten” in my heart and memory…

This year also reminded me of what makes life so amazing.

I’m so blessed to say that I have my parents still alive with me and that they are able to provide so much for me. As an adopted child, they have provided me with a roof over my head, food on the table, and advice and knowledge for whatever the future might hold. But most importantly they have given me unconditional love.

I’m so blessed to say that I have some really incredible friends such as Marc, Hannah and Cole. Who I can share some life experiences with and turn to for advice during the the times I don’t have all the answers.

I’m so humble to say that my business has seen much change and overhaul. While the chapter has closed for Michael Allendorf Photography & Productions, a new one has begun for Allendorf & Company. The future holds much for us, with new clients, a portfolio update, and fashion coverage through a redesigned iOS App.

With that said, I leave you with this quote from Neil Gaiman…

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly you’re doing something.

That’s the recipe to life, doing what you love with those who you love. Living life to the fullest knowing that each day is never promised or guaranteed. You never know what the future will hold, but you can sure always make the best of it.

I wish you a safe and Happy New Year from my family and friends to yours.

Sincerely,
Michael Allendorf

Lastly as a reminder… Do not drink and drive - nor ride with anybody who does. This is something that I hold dear to my heart as I’ve lost three friends killed by drunk drivers. There are no excuses for doing so.
