Yigal Azrouël | Cut 25

Yigal Azrouël debuted his eponymous women’s ready-to-wear collection in the fall of 1998 and received instant acclaim, both commercially and critically. Yigal’s designs are known for their innovative design, intricate construction and luxurious fabrications.

With the company and brand garnering global recognition, retailers desired more from the designer who arrived in New York in 1998. With a men’s ready-to-wear collection and a budding accessories line, Azrouel, along with the support of retailers, launched Cut25 by Yigal Azrouël, a new brand concept, designed and owned by Azrouel, which officially debuted for the fall 2010 season.

Cut25 by Yigal Azrouël is a contemporary collection that is defined by clothes that combine high fashion with day-to-day simplicity, presenting a feminine but edgy aesthetic that appeals to a broad range of customers. Innovative and viable, the designs present a unique mix of fabrics and body-conscious silhouettes, utilizing exceptional fabrications from European resources. The signature look is one of novelty, embodying a chic and light-spirited vibe.

Born and raised in Israel, and of French-Moroccan descent, Yigal often travels to various locations, both metropolitan and remote. He prefers undiscovered seaside destinations where he can practice one of his favorite hobbies – surfing. Azrouël draws inspiration from everything and everywhere: art, culture, architecture, nature, and first and foremost, his hometown – New York City.
